Born in South Africa, Danie has a Masters of Engineering and started his Telecommunications career in 1983. Danie emigrated to Australia in 2001, launched accesstel and has spent the last 19 years developing his extensive business network. He believes adding value to customers is the key to success. When he’s not the Managing Director of accesstel, he’s cycling, traveling, enjoying a glass of wine, designing houses or involved in community work.

Renier de Klerk
General Manager
Engineer, leader, customer champion. Renier has been in the industry for more than 20 years and with accesstel for more than 11 years. He loves nothing more than to work with his team to deliver outstanding results to accesstel's customers. He is deeply passionate about people: his family, his team, and his community. When he's not learning and finding solutions to complex problems, Renier is out riding his road or mountain bike, or collecting (and sampling?) fine wine. Renier was born in South Africa and graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering (First Class) from the University of Pretoria.

Johan Geldenhuys
Technical Director
Johan was accesstel's second employee and has worked in a variety of roles here for 13 years. Armed with a degree in Computer Architecture and Administration at CTU College in South Africa, Johan made the move to Australia for the opportunity to work with some interesting technology that solves operational challenges. There's no doubt that finding ways to solve business problems that add real value to our customers is Johan's favourite aspect of the job. When he's at home he's building his own IoT sensors and systems for home automation, motorcycling or woodworking.

With a Bachelor of Network Computing from Monash and a Post Graduate Management Diploma from Melbourne Business School, Rhys has established a strong 20-year career in the Australian information and communications technology industry. As a senior business leader with positions across OEMs, Telcos, Enterprise, and partners, Rhys brings a wealth of experience and a passion for technology to accesstel.
When he isn't helping our customers solve complex business problems using cutting-edge technology, Rhys has basketball on his mind. Outside of work, he will either coach his kids, volunteer at his local club, watch it on TV, or play at a local court.

Daniel joined accesstel in 2019. He is a qualified A-Grade electrician by trade, and his technical and on-site knowledge is a valuable asset to his role as Program Manager. He enjoys tinkering with technology and learning about the latest advancements. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his boys, playing video games and riding his motorbike.

She's been a part of the accesstel team for nearly ten years, managing the company's financial division and marketing efforts. After getting his Bachelor of Information Technology (Systems Administration) from RMIT, the opportunity to work with some of APAC's biggest telecommunication companies on a multitude of technologies made working with accesstel the easy career choice. Deven has been with us for almost eight years so we must be doing something right! The excellent work/life balance means he's also able to enjoy the work environment while mountain biking, playing guitar and travelling in his spare time.

Content Specialist & Logistics Coordinator
Nez has a degree in Public Relations and has been with accesstel for three years. She loves that we’re a family friendly business. It means she can work flexible hours and spend more time with her two boys, playing video games and doing puzzles. At accesstel she’s in charge of organising the office and making sure our customer’s orders go out when we say they will. She’s recently taken on marketing responsibility and you can read her work on our blog. When she’s not with her kids you can find her reading, walking and writing.

Daniel studied science and mechatronics at Monash University, he joined accesstel a few years ago to gain experience and knowledge in testing hardware and assisting other engineers with their work. He loves that the experience he's gaining can be applied in real life use cases. When he's not making our engineers lives easier he's experimenting with 3D printers and using game engines to simulate mechatronic systems.
David Cheah
Telecommunications Engineer
David joins accesstel as a qualified A-Grade electrician with a Diploma of Engineering. One of the newest members of the team, David was drawn to accesstel's positive work environment and family culture. He looks forward to tackling issues and embracing new technologies that will further develop skills. In his off-time, David enjoys watching sports, going for a run or riding his bike.

Khai is the newest addition to the accesstel clan, joining us after having recently graduated from Swinburne University with a degree in Computer Science (and a double major in Data Science and Internet of Things). Working with the Software Engineering team, he is excited to contribute to the innovative solutions we are creating. When he's not dabbling in new technologies, Khai enjoys using his telescope on a clear Melbourne night, playing piano, tending to his garden, and cooking up a feast!

George's most recent qualification is a Master of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne. He has over 40 years of experience in Telecommunications across engineering, product management, and consulting. George has been a long-time friend to accesstel and has now come on board to guide our privacy and security program. In his spare time, he embraces his Greek heritage by being involved in community activities and immersing himself in history. George also enjoys cycling and spending time along the southern coast of Victoria.
